About Us

Emmanuel Kann is more than a clothing brand; it's a tribute to family, creativity, and the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria. Founded by three sisters—Aniekeme, Nyeneime and Kubiat Inyang—Emmanuel Kann is the culmination of a lifelong journey fueled by passion, creativity, and a deep connection to their Nigerian roots.
Raised in Nigeria, the sisters were immersed in the vibrant colors and patterns of African Ankara fabric from an early age. Guided by their father, Emmanuel, a visionary who believed in the power of creativity, they developed a keen eye for everything design. He inspired  them to keep honoring his memory by pursuing their dreams and channeling their creativity into something meaningful.
Emmanuel Kann is named in honor of their beloved father, Emmanuel, whose legacy of innovation and encouragement continues to inspire them every day. The name "KANN" is an acronym derived from the founders' names—Kubiat, Aniekeme, Nyeneime, and their mother's name, Ndy—a testament to the unwavering support and love of their family.
